#BOSSBABE

Happy Monday BOSS BABES!

Today I will be talking about working from home and it’s something I just started doing. After starting my own Youtube channel, I became obsessed with the idea of making my own schedule and being my own #boss. Of course, that’s not as easily done as it is said. I searched jobs after jobs on indeed and finally, just accepted a technical support job working remotely. Ok, so it’s not working as a full time youtuber or blogger, but it’s a start. You have to start somewhere.

If you want to work from home, I suggest getting an entry level job to start. I am still on my way to finishing college, so I have no experience. Most entry level positions have training, so you don’t need a degree or a lot of previous skills. I don’t think it will be easy, but you have to be willing to do what it takes to get to the place you want to be. Remote positions have hectic schedules and usually require your flexibility 24/7 so dedication is key. If you’re not willing to work crazy hours, working remotely is probably not for you.

Aside from flexibility, discipline is also key. Are you able to get up and do the job from home? As fun as it sounds to hang in your pj’s all day, I recommend treating a stay-at-home job just like any other job. Get up, get ready for the day, and get your work done. Most customer service jobs will require a lot of thinking and technical help so you have to be disciplined to work crazy hours any time of the day and night.

If you dream of being a full time blogger, youtuber, or anything else like me, you have to start somewhere. Working for a remote company to see if it’s for you. It won’t be easy, but dedication will get you there. While you are growing your brand on the side, you have to make money and have a stable income. Once you’re able to make enough with your passion side jobs, then you can quit and be your own #bossbabe!
